PSA - RAPE AWARENESS EVALUATION

Overall i think that our PSA deserves a level 3, i think that a level 2 is too low for the work and skills needed to create this video.

we used a point of veiw shot when running, but other than that every shot was held steady when it needed to be. there where no heads cut off so the framing was appropriate. we had to cut and split clips where appropriate. we used many different types of shots such as the following;

- Long Distance
-Close up
- Over the shoulder
- Establishing shot
- popint of veiw and more

the material got the message across taht we wanted, adding music made a better effect on the video too therefore the material is appropriate for the task set.
For Mise - en scene we purposly done our video in daylight so that people can see it doesnt just happen at night it can happen any time of the day. we chose a girl being chased and a man chasing her which is appropriate mise - en - scene

we edited our video by adding in statistics and warnings so that it helps the message get across to the viewer.
we used fade in and fade out, and changing the sound levels so that it was more clear.
we combined images sound and editing to suit the movie and i think we did really well.
planning was a very important part of our work as it helped the filming go more smoothly.

PSA - what i have learnt so far

last week we were put into groups to do our Public Service Announcment videos first we sat down and created a story board of what we would like to incloude in our PSA.

i will post a copy oif my story board on here shortly,
the planning was probably the hardest part like choosing where we was going to shoot the filming as we wanted to do it across a road outside school but it wasnt possible as the cars where always going past! also a member of our group was abcent when planning so when it came to filming we had to go over the whole thing with that person and it took up time, this person wanted to do things different but it was difficult because we had already planned.

using our time sensibly was the most important thing, and communication, before we knew it our time was up, luckily we were able to finish our filming. I think planning is really important so that we could go out and just follow it rather than just filming anything and making it up as we went along.

overalll i think our film went really well as we used a variety of different shots and angles.
we now have to concentrate on our editing to neaten it up. when filming some things had to be changed but overall we followed our story board.
